Coaters

TMEIC has a long history of solving complex drive requirements for coating applications on the paper machine and off machine coating (OMC), providing the correct technology and process knowledge.

Coaters require high-performance drives that are coordinated through process controllers and high-speed LAN interfaces. Sophisticated yet simple-to-use HMI operator controls and superior diagnostics allow maximum flexibility and repeatable setup and operation. TMEIC serves the paper industry through OEMs and directly to mill operators.

At least two times each year, TMEIC invites its customers and OEM engineers to its Paper Mill Engineering School. Held both at TMEIC’s Virginia headquarters and off-site at various worldwide locations, this school brings together a wealth of both product and system experience to the paper industry.

From the flying splice of the unwind to the windup reel, ultra-reliable and high-performance AC and DC drive products and processor hardware and software are applied to meet the demanding off machine coater applications.
