Type of Explosion Protected	Description
Exn - Non Sparking	Machine is incapable of igniting a surrounding explosive atmosphere
Exe - Increased Safety	Machine doesn't produce dangerous sparks or temperatures
Exp - Pressurized	Explosive gas is excluded from the inside of the machine
Exd - Flame Proof Enclosure	Machine can contain internal explosion and prevent the transmission of flame to the external atmosphere
