The TMdrive series encompasses AC drive products, integrated state-of-the-art power electronics and drive technologies, and offers the best drive system solution for meeting a wide range of customer demands. Optimum drives may be selected for a system application and a general purpose application in various industrial fields.

Drives for System Applications

TMdrive-10e2
IGBT (*1) inverter optimal for small/medium capacity applications.
Applicable for driving motors of 2kVA to 2400kVA.
Major application Steel and non-ferrous metal processing, paper mills, cranes, conveyors, dynamo meters
TMdrive-30/50 TMdrive-30 TMdrive-50
An IGBT inverter is optimal for medium capacity applications.
TMdrive-30: Applicable for driving motors up to 4000kVA.
TMdrive-50: Applicable for driving motors up to 6000kVA.
Major application Steel and non-ferrous metal processing, marine, mining
TMdrive-70/80 TMdrive-70 TMdrive-80
A large capacity water-cooled inverter is optimal for medium/large capacity applications.
These inverters use IEGT or GCT and are applicable for driving motors up to 40MVA.
Major application Steel and non-ferrous metal rolling mill, large capacity compressor.

Drives for General Purpose Applications

TMdrive-MVG
A medium voltage inverter is optimal for driving directly a 3.3/6.6/10/11kV class medium voltage motor without an output transformer.
Optimum drive for energy saving of fluid machinery such as fans, blowers or pumps.
Applicable for driving motors of capacity from 200kVA to 19500kVA.
Major application Fans, blowers, compressors and pumps, and constant torque machines such as extruders and mixers.
TMdrive-XL55
A water-cooled IGBT inverter optimal for general purpose medium large applications. Applicable for driving directly 6.6kV class motors up to 16MVA.
Major application Fans, blowers, compressors and pumps, and constant torque machines such as extruders and mixers
TMdrive-XL75
An extra large IEGT inverter optimal for large compressors or other large capacity applications.
Major application Large capacity compressors,
large capacity general purpose applications such as pumps, fans or blowers.
TMdrive-XL80
A GCT inverter for large compressors or other large capacity applications. Applicable for driving directly 3.3kV class motors up to 30MVA
Major application Fans, blowers, compressors and pumps, and constant torque machines such as extruders and mixers
TMdrive-XL85
An extra large GCT inverter for large compressors or other large capacity applications. Optimal inverter system for replacing compressor drives from steam or gas turbines to electric motors. Applicable for driving directly 6.6kv class motors up to 120MVA
Major application Extra large compressors or other extra large capacity applications, such as for energy resources.
