TM GE Control System Toolbox
Drive Configuration Software

The TM GE Automation Control Systems Toolbox is a Windows-based operator interface program used to configure, tune, and monitor TM GE Automation Systems drives. Its user-friendly interface assists the operator in all levels of setup and operation with password security levels that protect the configuration. The toolbox also allows the Trend Recorder to monitor and record drive system events.

The drive software includes:

  • Online help for detailed explanation of wizards, software parameters, and drive fault codes
  • Parameters to configure the drive behavior
  • Diagrams to view signal flow, sequencing, and regulator control (shown above) in the drive

Drive regulation and sequencing are driven by a set of parameters. These parameters are edited/monitored using any of three operator-selected methods:

  1. Functionally organized menus
  2. Block diagrams that detail the regulators and sequencing functions
  3. Wizards that guide the user through a complete drive configuration and tune-up

The drive is configured with commissioning and tune-up wizards. These wizards intelligently guide the user through all the steps necessary to configure a drive. The wizard prompts the user for parameter values necessary to set up the application, bypassing configuration settings for features that the user has deselected. Other wizards support drive activity to optimize performance.

Each drive product has its own unique set of wizards.
